The Nitto NT555 G2 is the next generation ultra high-performance summer tire engineered for drivers seeking enhanced performance. Key features include larger tread blocks on wider sizes (275mm and up) for enhanced traction on high-horsepower vehicles, and twin center ribs for increased dry traction and straight-line stability. Large tapered blocks and reinforced shoulder treadblocks improve grip and cornering stability in both wet and dry conditions. Circumferential grooves aid in water evacuation and wet handling, reducing the risk of hydroplaning. The tire utilizes a high stiffness and silica compound with a special bonding agent that reinforces compound rigidity during cornering, leading to better overall handling. Performance ratings indicate a 4.5 out of 5 for both Dry and Wet performance, with a 3 out of 5 for Quietness and Ride Comfort. The UTQG rating is 320 AA A, with a treadwear rating of 200.
