The Nitto NT555 G2 is an ultra-high-performance summer tire designed for spirited drivers. It offers excellent traction in both wet and dry conditions, featuring a directional tread pattern with twin center ribs for enhanced dry grip and straight-line stability.

Constructed with a proprietary high-silica compound and a special bonding agent, this tire achieves higher compound stiffness for improved cornering performance. The NT555 G2 is designed for all Chevrolet Corvettes.

The Nitto NT555 G2 Ultra High Performance Summer Tire is engineered to address handling concerns in high-powered Corvettes, such as instability during rapid acceleration or cornering. It aims to provide superior traction in various conditions. The tire features a directional tread pattern with twin center ribs for improved dry traction and straight-line stability. Large tapered blocks enhance grip and cornering stability, while circumferential grooves facilitate water evacuation for better wet handling. The construction utilizes a proprietary high-silica compound, reinforced with a special bonding agent that increases interaction between base compound elements to create a stiffer compound for superior wet and dry cornering performance. This tire is specifically designed for all Chevrolet Corvettes, including the 1997-2004 C5 models. It comes in a 255/40R19 size with a load index of 100 and a speed rating of (W) up to 168mph. The tread depth is 11/32", and it requires a recommended rim width between 8.5" and 10".
