Built with a high-grip compound, the NT555RII maximizes traction under demanding conditions. Its semi-racing construction enhances strength and durability. Large circumferential grooves improve wet-weather handling, and a modified sidewall design boosts launch performance compared to previous NT05R models. The twin large center ribs offer better dry traction.

The Nitto NT555RII Competition Drag Radial Tire is specifically engineered to deliver superior traction and control for drag strip use, while also being street-friendly. The twin large center ribs contribute to better straight-line stability and dry traction. This tire is DOT compliant and sold individually. Installation of the Nitto NT555RII is straightforward, requiring no permanent alterations. It is designed to fit wheels that require 275/40R18 tires, with a recommended wheel width range of 9 to 11 inches. This specific tire is part of the Nitto NT555RII line and fits 1997-2004 Chevrolet Corvette C5 models.
