The Nitto NT555RII is a high-performance, all-season drag radial tire designed for competition.

This tire features a D.O.T.-compliant competition drag radial compound with enhanced flexibility for weekend racers. It has a directional tread design with wide circumferential grooves for wet grip and twin center ribs for dry traction. The NT555RII is built in popular 15 through 22-inch sizes and is designed to be used on the driven axle in conjunction with the NT555 G2 Summer Ultra High Performance Tire.

The Nitto NT555RII is a D.O.T.-compliant competition drag radial tire, engineered for the weekend drag racer seeking enhanced flexibility and grip. This tire features a high-grip compound and semi-racing construction, designed to provide superior traction off the line for improved 60-foot times compared to the NT05R. The sidewall construction has been modified to optimize launch performance. With a directional tread pattern, the NT555RII utilizes wide circumferential grooves to maintain road contact in wet conditions, while twin center ribs ensure a continuous contact patch for maximum dry traction. Nitto designed this tire to work in harmony with the NT555 G2 Summer Ultra High Performance Tire, allowing for optimal setup on modern performance vehicles by placing the drag radials on the driven axle and the NT555 G2s on the non-driven axle. Key specifications include a UTQG rating of 100 A A, indicating a Treadwear of 100, Traction A, and Temperature A. The tire has a size of 345/30R19, a Load Index of 105W, and a maximum load pressure of 2039 lbs at 51 PSI. The minimum recommended rim width is 11.50 inches, and the maximum is 12.50 inches. Its overall actual diameter is 27.20 inches, with a section width of 13.78 inches. The NT555RII is not a run-flat tire and is classified for PASSENGER car type use.
