Description

The NTK 74415 (MA0209) is a Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) sensor or Turbocharger Boost Sensor that measures intake manifold pressure and sends a voltage signal to the ECM to determine engine load and ensure proper air/fuel ratio. It is commonly found in the intake manifold, throttle body, or remotely mounted under the hood. Causes for replacement include engine lamp lighting, engine deceleration, poor fuel economy, emission testing, engine installation, and extended crank time.
