The Zumbrota Drivetrain RMT4500D-18 is a remanufactured NV4500 5-speed manual transmission engineered for 4WD applications. This transmission is specifically designed as a conversion unit, intended to replace the G360 transmission and certain Hollander part numbers (400-02342, 400-03810). It features a modified input retainer for compatibility. Each Zumbrota Drivetrain manual transmission undergoes a rigorous three-step inspection process. This includes a pre-inspection for case cracks and wear, measurement of component parts to ensure OEM specifications, and a final build inspection focusing on shaft straightness, gear wear, and synchronizers. Seals are replaced, and each unit is dyno-tested for operation, shiftability, and noise levels. This transmission is intended for 1990-1993 Dodge W250 and W350 models equipped with a diesel engine and 4WD. It is specifically designed for a G360 conversion to the NV4500. It's important to note that a conversion kit is required if the vehicle has not already been converted to this transmission type. The transmission requires 5 quarts of fluid, but the fluid is not included.
