The Zumbrota Drivetrain RMT4500D-6 is a remanufactured NV4500 5-speed manual transmission specifically engineered for 1998-2002 Chrysler trucks with the 8.0L or Diesel engine and 4x4 configuration. This transmission is built to meet OE standards, ensuring reliable performance and longevity. Key features include a robust cast iron main case and a lighter aluminum top cover. It offers a 5.61 ratio in first gear for strong initial acceleration and boasts 1-1/4" input splines with 10 teeth. The design accommodates a square 4-bolt shifter stub, making it a direct replacement for compatible vehicles. The transmission also includes a Hollander Number of 400-03251 for easy identification and cross-referencing.
