When used in conjunction with a BDS lift kit, this steering stabilizer kit can also help extend the lifespan of your truck's factory steering components. The kit includes heavy-duty, gusseted mounting brackets with a durable metallic silver finish. At the core of this kit are the BDS NX2 Stabilizer shocks. These shocks utilize a pressurized nitrogen-charged twin-tube design and feature advanced 10-stage velocity-sensitive valving. This technology ensures lightning-fast dampening that adapts to changing terrain and driving conditions. The shocks themselves have a 2-inch body, a robust 1-3/8-inch fluon-banded piston, self-lubricating seals, and a 14mm hardened chrome shaft designed to resist damage from rock chips and corrosion. Important considerations for installation include: this dual system will not work on vehicles with 2 inches of lift or less and requires a minimum of 1-1/2 inches of bump stop extension. It may not be compatible with all aftermarket track bars; clearance should be verified by cycling the suspension to full compression. However, it is confirmed to work with BDS track bars.
