Overview

The BDS Suspension BDS85601 is a front shock absorber designed for high-end performance at an affordable price. It features a pressurized nitrogen-charged twin-tube design with 10-stage velocity-sensitive valving for adaptive dampening. The shock has a 2-inch body, a 1-3/8-inch fluon-banded piston, and a 14mm hardened chrome shaft to resist damage and corrosion.

Polyurethane bushings and metal sleeves are included for easy installation. This shock absorber is designed to work with 0 to 3-inch lift kits and is finished in metallic silver with NX2 decals.

The BDS Suspension BDS85601 is a front shock absorber engineered to deliver high-end performance for 1988-1998 Chevy/GMC 1500 trucks and 1992-1998 SUV 4WD models, while remaining affordable. This shock absorber utilizes a pressurized nitrogen-charged, twin-tube design, incorporating 10-stage velocity-sensitive valving. This technology allows for rapid dampening that quickly adapts to various terrains, whether on or off-road. The shock features a 2-inch body, a robust 1-3/8-inch fluon-banded piston, and a 14mm hardened chrome shaft that enhances resistance to rock chips and corrosion. For a straightforward installation, it includes polyurethane bushings and metal sleeves. This shock absorber is offered with various stem and eyelet bushing configurations, accommodating custom applications. It is designed to be compatible with all current BDS lift kits and is finished in a durable metallic silver paint with NX2 decals.
