The BDS Suspension NX2 Nitro rear shock absorber is engineered to deliver high-end performance at an affordable price, designed to enhance your vehicle's handling on and off-road. This twin-tube shock features a durable 2-inch body construction, incorporating a large 1-3/8-inch fluon-banded piston and self-lubricating seals for consistent operation. The 14mm hardened chrome shaft is built to resist corrosion and damage from rock chips, ensuring longevity. Internally, the NX2 Nitro shock utilizes a pressurized nitrogen-charged twin-tube design coupled with 10-stage velocity-sensitive valving. This advanced valving system allows the shock to rapidly adapt to varying terrain, providing superior control and a smoother ride. The shock is completed with dual-welded ends for enhanced structural strength, polyurethane bushings, and metal sleeves, facilitating a straightforward installation process. This shock is specifically designed to work with a 0-inch lift kit and is offered in various stem and eyelet bushing configurations for custom applications. It is also compatible with all current BDS lift kits. The shock is finished with a durable metallic silver paint and features NX2 decals. Fitment is confirmed for 2014-2018 Ram 2500 4WD models, with specific applications including the Big Horn trim.
