The BDS NX2 Nitro Series shock absorber is engineered to deliver high-end performance and restore optimal ride quality to your lifted truck or SUV. Utilizing a pressurized nitrogen-charged twin-tube design, these shocks offer a sportier and more responsive feel, whether you're on the road or tackling off-road challenges. At its core, the NX2 Nitro features a 10-stage velocity-sensitive valving system that ensures lightning-fast dampening, adapting instantly to the terrain. The large 1-3/8-inch fluon-banded piston, combined with self-lubricating seals and a 14mm hardened chrome shaft, is designed to resist rock chips and corrosion, ensuring durability. The shock body itself measures 2-3/8 inches in diameter, and it includes polyurethane bushings with metal sleeves for straightforward installation. The shock is finished in a metallic silver paint with NX2 decals. This shock absorber is specifically valved for various vehicle applications and is designed to work with lift kits providing 0 to 3 inches of lift. It is sold individually, and configurations are available for front, rear, and dual shock applications. While installation is generally considered straightforward, BDS provides an installation guide for assistance. Mounting hardware is not included with the shock.
