NX2 Nitro Series 2-Inch Front Shock

The BDS Suspension NX2 Nitro Series front shock is engineered to upgrade the performance of your 1984-2001 Jeep Cherokee XJ or 1993-1998 Grand Cherokee ZJ. This shock absorber utilizes a pressurized nitrogen-charged, twin-tube design that incorporates 10-stage velocity-sensitive valving. This advanced valving system ensures rapid dampening adjustments, adapting to a wide range of terrains whether you're on or off-road. Constructed with a durable 2-inch body, the shock features a large 1-3/8-inch fluon-banded piston, self-lubricating seals, and a 14mm hardened chrome shaft designed to resist corrosion and damage from rock chips. Polyurethane bushings and metal sleeves are included for straightforward installation. This shock is specifically designed to complement BDS lift kits, particularly those with a 6.5-inch lift, and is finished in a resilient metallic silver paint with NX2 decals. The BDS85961 shock absorber has an extended length of 26.2000 inches and a compressed length of 15.8000 inches, providing a travel length of 10.4000 inches. It is a gas-charged, twin-tube shock and is not adjustable. Mounting hardware is not included.
