NX2 Nitro Series Rear Shock Absorber

The BDS NX2 Nitro Series shock absorber is engineered to significantly improve the ride quality of your lifted truck or SUV. This high-performance, nitrogen-charged twin-tube shock features vehicle-specific valving, ensuring optimal damping and a sportier, more responsive feel across various terrains, whether on-road or off-road. Construction highlights include a large, fluon-banded piston, a hardened chrome rod, and self-lubricating seals, all housed within a durable metallic silver finish. The internal 10-stage velocity-sensitive valving reacts rapidly to terrain changes for consistent control. The shock is sold individually and is available in configurations for front, rear, and dual shock applications. BDS Suspension warrants NX2 shock and stabilizer cylinders against defects in material and workmanship for the original retail purchaser for as long as they own the vehicle. However, the product finish and mounting bushings are excluded from this warranty. Dented cylinders, bent rods from impact, rust, or worn bushings are not considered defects. Shock absorbers are wear items and diminished damping resistance due to normal wear is not warrantable. Oil seals are also subject to wear and are generally not covered, though leaking seals within one year, free from contamination or misuse, may be considered. Installation of the NX2 Nitro Series shocks is described as a fairly easy process, though installation hardware is not included. BDS Suspension offers an installation guide for assistance. The shock has an extended length of 23.12 inches and a collapsed length of 14.25 inches, with a body diameter of 2-3/8 inches. It uses EB1-A top and bottom mounts.
