The BDS NX2 Nitro Series shock is engineered to enhance the ride quality of your lifted truck or SUV, offering high-end performance at an accessible price point. Its robust construction includes a pressurized nitrogen-charged twin-tube design that ensures consistent and responsive damping. The shock features a 10-stage velocity-sensitive valving system, allowing for lightning-fast dampening adjustments to adapt to diverse on- and off-road conditions. The internal components consist of a large 1-3/8-inch fluon-banded piston, self-lubricating seals, and a 14mm hardened chrome shaft designed to resist rock chips and corrosion. The shock body measures 2-3/8 inches in diameter and is finished in a durable metallic silver. Installation is described as a relatively straightforward process, with polyurethane bushings and metal sleeves included to facilitate the swap. However, mounting hardware is not included with the shock, and it is sold individually. The product is available in various stem and eyelet bushing configurations, making it suitable for custom applications and compatible with current BDS lift kits. BDS Suspension offers a limited lifetime warranty on NX2 shock and stabilizer cylinders against defects in material and workmanship for the original retail purchaser. However, the product's finish and mounting bushings are excluded from this warranty. Wear items like shock oil seals are also subject to specific warranty conditions, with leaks less than one year from purchase potentially considered under certain circumstances. Costs associated with removal, installation, reinstallation, and incidental damages are expressly excluded from all BDS warranties.
