Description

The DENSO Air/Fuel Ratio Sensor (AFR) is a sensitive component that measures the air-to-fuel mixture in the exhaust stream and sends information to the engine management computer for adjustments. This sensor reduces fuel consumption and emissions, and maximizes catalytic converter life. It provides precise control of air/fuel mixtures, enabling efficient fuel injection and engine timing. The sensor features tarnish-proof platinum electrodes, a DENSO aluminum-oxide trap layer to prevent electrode damage, stainless steel construction, watertight housing, and a porous PTFE filter.
