The Denso 234-9089 is an Air/Fuel Ratio (AFR) sensor designed to provide the ECU with precise air-fuel ratio feedback. This sensor utilizes a sophisticated sensing element to achieve this, contributing to better performance, reduced emissions, and improved gas mileage. Denso's design includes an aluminum-oxide trap layer to shield the ceramic and platinum electrode from silicone and lead, while a double protection cover ensures proper operating temperature for quicker response times and protects against contamination.
