Overview

The Blox Racing conversion harness is a wiring solution designed to connect an OBD1 harness to an OBD0 chassis. It is made using a silicone fiber-reinforced wire for improved heat and oil resistance. This harness allows for the reuse of factory sensors and provides connections for a 4-wire oxygen sensor, VTEC solenoid, pressure switches, and knock sensor. It also includes provisions for the factory IAB solenoid.

The Blox Racing conversion harness is engineered to simplify ECU wiring for MPFI applications, specifically for converting an OBD0 chassis to an OBD1 ECU. This is a crucial step for achieving greater tuning capabilities in high horsepower engine builds. The harness is constructed with specially made, silicone fiber-reinforced wire, offering superior heat protection and resistance to oil compared to standard wiring. Each connector on the harness is meticulously pinned to ensure that factory sensors can be reused without modification. Additionally, a secondary pigtail is included to provide the necessary connections for a 4-wire oxygen sensor, VTEC solenoid, pressure switches, and knock sensor. Blox Racing has also integrated provisions for users who wish to retain the factory IAB solenoid in their setup. To successfully complete an OBD0 to OBD1 conversion using this harness, several additional parts are required. These include an OBD1 distributor for your engine, an OBD1 4-wire oxygen sensor, and an OBD1 Honda ECU. These essential components can also be sourced from A4H-Tech.com.
