OBD2 Compliant Engine Kit

The VF Engineering Supercharger Kit (VFK29-01) is engineered to be a complete, bolt-on solution for significantly increasing your vehicle's power output. Extensive research and development in Europe and the USA by VF-Engineering have focused on ensuring performance reliability and maintaining a stock-like feel. The kit includes custom, proprietary VF software to safely adjust fueling and engine management parameters, ensuring it operates within BMW's OEM specifications to minimize the likelihood of diagnostic trouble codes or check-engine lights. This "ready to run" supercharger system produces 6.0 psi of manifold pressure at peak boost, which VF engineers have determined to be the optimal limit without the need for an aftercooler. Dyno results indicate substantial gains, with peak torque increases of 70-80 ft-lbs and an overall increase of approximately 285 horsepower and 231 ft-lbs of torque. The installation process is designed to be non-intrusive and fully reversible, estimated to take around 8 hours. It includes every part necessary for a complete installation. Upon ordering, customers are required to provide their VIN number, ECU, and transmission type (automatic or manual) to VF Engineering within one year of purchase for the necessary ECU software flash. This supercharger kit is not for sale or use in the state of California on any pollution-controlled vehicle, as per the California Air Resources Board regulations. This kit is specifically designed to fit the BMW E46 models equipped with the M54 2.5L engine. This includes the 325Ci and 325i submodels for the years 2001-2003, specifically those with the MS43 ECU.
