OBS Fuel System Kit 7.3L

The Irate Diesel Performance OBS Fuel System is a comprehensive upgrade designed for 1994-1997 7.3L OBS Ford trucks. This kit includes an IDP Billet Block with a 304ss mounting bracket, a choice between the Bosch OEM 7.3L Super Duty pump (IDP-OBSFUEL-S) or the high-volume Bosch 464-200 pump (IDP-OBSFUEL-HF), along with all necessary Pushloc hose and fittings for your selected pump. The system features an IDP regulated return, wiring harness, valley plug, and JIC fittings for the regulator and heads. This kit completely deletes the factory fuel bowl, eliminating associated leaks and providing superior water and air separation compared to the stock system. Depending on your injector size and tank configuration, you can choose the appropriate Bosch pump. The OEM pump is recommended for use with the factory selector valve and supports up to 180/30 injectors, while the high-volume Bosch 464-200 is ideal for single tanks with a sump (or draw straw) and supports up to 275/200 injectors for approximately 600hp. Installation on 94-97 trucks requires removing or sliding the turbo assembly to access the driver's side fitting in the head. **Important Considerations:** The product documentation strongly recommends a sumped single tank or a larger 35-gallon tank (F26E) with a 1/2" supply line for maximum pump life and reliability, especially when using the higher volume Bosch 464-200 pump. The OEM Super Duty Bosch pump comes with a one-year warranty. If the Bosch 464-200 High Flow Pump is used through the selector valve, there will be limited warranty offered as of 5-15-26, and it will not be covered against starvation or leaks due to over-pressurization. A loud pump upon install indicates a restriction upstream that must be addressed, often requiring a new selector valve and in-tank pickups, though aftermarket selector valves have shown low quality. This kit will not work on E-series vans without modification.
