The JLT Performance oil separator 3.0 is a billet aluminum catch can designed to protect your engine by capturing oil vapors before they reach the intake track. By preventing oil from coating the intake manifold and valves, this system helps maintain fuel octane levels and reduces the risk of combustion chamber detonation, which is especially critical in high-RPM and supercharged applications. This passenger-side unit features a multi-stage filtration system with a stainless steel mesh and an aluminum honeycomb filter to ensure only clean air passes through. Constructed from solid billet aluminum with a clear anodized finish, the separator includes a knurled base that is easily removed for draining. The 3.0 version offers a 3-ounce capacity, a significant upgrade over the 1-ounce original version, and features an integrated O-ring seal to prevent leaks. The kit comes complete with all required hoses and hardware for a simple, plug-and-play installation. Compatibility is limited to specific models: 2011-2017 Mustang GT, 2012-2013 Mustang Boss 302, and 2016-2017 Mustang GT350. Please note that this part is not CARB approved and cannot be sold or installed on any emission-controlled vehicle in California.
