It also includes remote battery voltage sensing for improved accuracy and extended battery life. The unit is performance and insulation tested to 600 volts.

The Motorcraft GL952 is an OE-spec replacement alternator designed specifically for 2009-2010 Ford F-150 trucks. Technically, the unit features dual internal cooling fans that enhance reliability during extreme temperature operations. The alternator also utilizes remote battery voltage sensing to maintain improved voltage accuracy and support battery longevity. It is performance- and insulation-tested up to 600 volts and includes a factory-installed 6-groove serpentine pulley. It is only compatible with the 2009-2010 Ford F-150 platform. As a genuine Motorcraft part, it is built to avoid the fitment issues common with reverse-engineered components. The system also includes failure mode effect (FME) management diagnostics to help provide early warning of potential charging system issues. Please note that this product carries a core charge requirement. The manufacturer warranty covers defects in factory-supplied materials or workmanship for 24 months with unlimited miles for parts sold on or after October 1, 2013. The warranty excludes failures resulting from abuse, misuse, neglect, racing, or installation in unauthorized vehicle applications.
