The Honda 19315-5G0-A01 is a genuine OEM thermostat housing, also known as a Cover Assembly, Thermo. This part is manufactured by Honda to meet strict factory specifications, ensuring it functions as intended and maintains your vehicle's peak performance. This direct replacement thermostat housing is designed for specific Honda Accord (2013-2017), Pilot (2016-2020), Ridgeline (2017-2019), and Crosstour (2013-2015) models. The part measures 4.6 x 4.2 x 3.1 inches and weighs 0.70 pounds. It comes with Honda's factory warranty, guaranteeing its quality and durability. Installation involves several steps, including draining the cooling system, removing components like the alternator and air conditioning compressor (without disconnecting lines), and detaching the splash shield and intake manifold. The water passage must be cleaned of old gasket material, and a new O-ring should be installed. RTV sealant is recommended for the engine block and water passage sealing surfaces, with at least 3 hours required for drying before refilling the cooling system.
