The FTP Motorsport intake pipe is a direct OEM replacement for your original plastic air intake hose. It replaces the factory hose between the air filter and the turbo, ensuring it will not expand under boost. This pipe eliminates the OEM sound chamber, which results in increased turbo response and improved mid-range and top-end power.

The FTP Motorsport intake pipe is designed as a direct replacement for the original plastic air intake hose, specifically for BMW F2X and F3X models equipped with the B48 engine. It replaces the factory hose situated between the air filter and the turbocharger. This upgrade is constructed from aluminum and features 3-ply silicone couplers, ensuring it will not expand under boost pressure. By eliminating the OEM sound chamber, this intake pipe enhances turbo response and improves both mid-range and top-end power output. It addresses the final restriction in airflow into the turbo, leading to improved turbo response, increased airflow, and reduced turbo lag. FTP Motorsport also offers an optional Viton O-ring, which provides superior strength and durability compared to the original material, preventing leaks. Compatibility is confirmed for various BMW models including the 1' F20 LCI, 1' F21 LCI, 2' F22, 2' F22 LCI, 2' F23, 2' F23 LCI, 3' F30 LCI, 3' F31 LCI, 3' F34 GT LCI, 3' F35 LCI, 4' F32, 4' F32 LCI, 4' F33, 4' F33 LCI, 4' F36 Gran Coupé, and 4' F36 Gran Coupé LCI, all produced between late 2014 and mid-2018, and equipped with the B48 engine. Some listings also note that the short version may be suitable for F-Series models powered by the first generation B48 engine and fitted with an aftermarket intake system only.
