The Bosch OEM spark plug, model ZGR6STE2, is a direct replacement designed to restore peak engine performance and fuel economy. If your vehicle is experiencing symptoms such as misfiring, hesitation, loss of power, or a check engine light, aged spark plugs may be the cause. This spark plug features a robust construction with a Nickel-Yttrium and Copper center electrode and a 3-ground electrode design for enhanced durability and performance. Key specifications include a 14mm thread size with a 1.25mm pitch, a 26.5mm reach, and a 14mm bi-hex (12-point) size. The pre-gap size is set at 0.7mm, and it utilizes a gasket seat type. The recommended torque specification is 23 ± 3 Nm (approximately 17 ft-lb). These spark plugs are made in Germany and are manufactured to stringent standards, often found within Genuine BMW packaging. They are designed as a direct replacement for various BMW models, including the 1 Series M, 135i, 335i, 335i xDrive, 335is, and Z4 models, among others. It is recommended to replace spark plugs at the manufacturer's suggested service intervals, typically around 45,000 miles for these specific BMW engines.
