The transmission side utilizes a spherical bushing that allows for greater movement and a more positive cable feel, improving shift accuracy compared to factory rubber bushings. The set includes all necessary hardware for installation, such as hairpin cotter pins and retaining clips.

The K-Tuned 8th Civic Si OEM-Spec Shifter Cables are engineered as a robust and cost-effective replacement for the factory cables in 2006-2011 Civic Si models. These cables maintain identical fitment and overall length to OEM specifications, ensuring seamless integration with OEM shifter boxes and many aftermarket options. The design includes custom billet cable ends, offering a stronger alternative to the original plastic components. On the transmission side, a new spherical bushing is incorporated, which facilitates greater movement while maintaining a strong, positive cable connection. This design enhances shift feel and accuracy when compared to stock rubber bushings. Installation is straightforward as the cable set comes complete with all necessary hardware. This includes two reusable hairpin-style cotter pins for all cable end connections and three cable retaining clips. One connection point features a self-locking setup on the shifter side for added security. In addition to direct fitment for the 2006-2011 Civic Si, these cables are also compatible with K-Swapped cars utilizing a K20Z3 transmission and a TSX Billet Shifter.
