The VIS Racing OEM Style Carbon Fiber Hood offers a significant aesthetic and performance upgrade for the 2011-2015 BMW 5 Series F10 models. Constructed from 100% ISO-certified, Grade-A carbon fiber, this hood is bonded with high-grade epoxy resin and finished with a UV-protective polyurethane coating, resulting in a durable, high-gloss appearance. VIS Racing employs the Vacuum Infusion Process (V.I.P.) in its manufacturing, which yields parts that are 10-20% lighter than previous iterations without sacrificing structural integrity. This process, combined with a one-piece smooth underside shell, ensures both a performance edge and long-lasting durability. The hood is designed with an OEM style to seamlessly integrate with the vehicle's lines. This hood is specifically designed to fit various 2011-2015 BMW 5 Series F10 models, including the 520i, 528i, 528i xDrive, 530i, 535d, 535d xDrive, 535i, 535i GT, 535i GT xDrive, 535i xDrive, 550i, 550i GT, 550i GT xDrive, and 550i xDrive. It's important to note that due to the nature of these products, hood pins are required for installation.
