The VIS Racing carbon fiber hood is an OEM-style body panel designed for the 2018-2023 Ford Mustang 2-door models. It is constructed from Grade-A carbon fiber material with a high-grade epoxy resin and finished with a UV-protective polyurethane coating for a high gloss.

This hood features a two-part construction with a smooth underside shell for enhanced structural integrity. VIS Racing utilizes a Vacuum Infusion Process (V.I.P.) to produce parts that are lighter and more durable. Each hood comes with a VIS badge of authenticity.

The VIS Racing carbon fiber hood offers an OEM-style upgrade for your 2018-2023 Ford Mustang 2-door. Constructed from Grade-A carbon fiber and bonded with high-grade epoxy resin, this hood is finished with an ultra-clear, UV-protective polyurethane coating for a lasting high gloss. VIS Racing employs a two-part construction design, featuring a smooth, one-piece underside shell that is fused to the carbon fiber top layer for increased structural integrity. The edges are hand-smoothed for a quality finish. VIS Racing has further refined its manufacturing process with the Vacuum Infusion Process (V.I.P.), which uses a single-mold vacuum to produce parts that are 10-20% lighter while simultaneously improving durability. This advanced process is being integrated across their carbon fiber product line. This hood is specifically designed for the 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2023 Ford Mustang 2-door models. Please note that it will not fit Shelby GT350 or GT500 models. Hood pins are required due to the intended off-road use, and these products are recommended for off-road use only unless otherwise permitted by local laws. Each hood includes a VIS badge of authenticity.
