The ViS Racing carbon fiber hood is an OEM-style replacement body panel designed for 1994-2004 Chevrolet S10 2-door models. It features a two-part construction with a carbon fiber top layer bonded to a one-piece underside shell for enhanced structural integrity. The surface is finished with an ultra-clear, UV-protective polyurethane coating for a durable, high-gloss appearance. These hoods are manufactured using a Vacuum Infusion Process (V.I.P.), which utilizes a single-mold vacuum to improve durability while making the part 10-20% lighter than traditional manufacturing methods. Edges are hand-smoothed to ensure a quality finish throughout. Due to the nature of these aftermarket components, hood pins are required for installation. This product is intended for off-road use only, unless local or state laws dictate otherwise. Every hood includes a badge of authenticity, which should be verified upon receipt.
