The Monroe 72295 OESpectrum strut is engineered to provide an optimal blend of comfort, control, and ride quality for foreign nameplate vehicles. It employs Monroe's Twin Technology Active Control System, which includes an Impact Control Valve for precise control in various driving conditions and a Low Speed Tunability Piston for isolating noise, harshness, and vibration. The strut's Full Displaced Valving automatically adapts to road extremes, ensuring consistent performance. Durability is a key focus, with features such as a Fluon banded piston for a reliable seal, a nitrocarburized piston rod for enhanced toughness, and a self-lubricating piston seal that maintains gas pressure without excessive wear. It is sold individually and replaces OE part numbers including 96408663 and 96980825. This product is specifically designed for 2004-2018 Chevy Aveo models. It is recommended to replace shocks or struts in pairs. The Monroe OESpectrum shocks and struts are covered by a Limited Lifetime Warranty, provided they are used on private passenger cars and light trucks under normal operating conditions and have not been modified or improperly applied. This warranty excludes the cost of removal and installation.
