Overview

It features a billet aluminum construction and Viton silicone o-ring sealed piston-based internals, making it suitable for raised boost levels. The valve includes three interchangeable springs to adjust for varying boost pressures and has a fully rebuildable design. Because the Hyundai Genesis Coupe 2.0T does not utilize a MAF sensor, residual boost pressure can be safely discharged to the atmosphere without negatively impacting performance or driveability.

While the OEM valve is adequate for factory boost levels, it can become insufficient when boost pressure is increased or after prolonged use. Key features of the FMDVHGA include its fully rebuildable design, ensuring longevity and ease of maintenance. It comes equipped with three interchangeable springs and included shims, allowing for precise tuning to accommodate varying boost levels. The valve also features an o-ring sealed cap with a swivel vacuum nipple for secure connection. As the Hyundai Genesis Coupe 2.0T does not rely on a Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor, the engine management system can effectively handle the discharge of residual boost pressure to the atmosphere, which this vented blow-off valve accomplishes without adverse effects on the vehicle's performance or driveability. This blow-off valve is specifically designed to fit the 2009+ Hyundai Genesis Coupe 2.0 Turbo models. It is also noted to fit the Hyundai Sonata and Kia Sportage/Optima with the 2.0T engine.
