The BOLT 7040477 is an off-vehicle coupler lock designed for enhanced trailer security. It is constructed from steel and features a powder-coated red finish for visibility. This lock works with 1 7/8 in., 2 in., and 2 5/16 in. couplers.

It utilizes BOLT's patented one-key lock technology, allowing it to be opened with your vehicle's ignition key, eliminating the need for separate keys. The lock is weather-proof, has an auto-return spring that locks automatically, and employs a double ball bearing locking mechanism. It also includes a plate tumbler sidebar to prevent picking and bumping, and a stainless steel lock shutter to protect against dirt and moisture.
