By providing a 0.40-inch offset, these bushings physically reposition the steering rack to optimize both the Ackerman angle and bump steer geometry, resulting in more responsive and predictable steering behavior during cornering. Designed as a direct-fit performance upgrade, these bushings are compatible with 1985-1995 Ford Mustang models. Please note that the 0.40-inch offset configuration is specifically validated for these model years, while other Steeda offset variants are available for extended compatibility across the 1985-2004 Mustang platform.
