The Edelbrock 1070 is an SAE 30 break-in oil designed for new and rebuilt engines. It features a blend of hydro-processed petroleum base stocks and additives that prepare metal surfaces. The oil's high zinc content helps separate critical mating surfaces, providing a protective film for camshafts and valvetrain components during the break-in process. This formula also contains cleaning agents beneficial for newly machined parts.
