Oil Baffle with Viton Flapper Valves

This integrated two-piece system works by employing Viton one-way flapper valves on the baffle and precisely formed louvers in the windage tray. These components work in tandem to prevent oil from re-entering the upper crankcase area, instead directing it efficiently into the oil pan to maintain a plentiful supply to the oil pickup. Unlike designs that sandwich between the block and pan, this baffle resides entirely inside the oil pan, eliminating additional sealing surfaces and potential leak points. The windage tray's louvers help direct draining oil downwards and prevent it from sloshing upwards into the crankshaft and connecting rods, thereby reducing pumping losses. The Viton flappers are oil and high-temperature resistant, opening under normal operation to allow downward oil flow and closing during acceleration or cornering forces to keep oil contained. However, please note that it does not work with Moroso oil pans or pickups. An IAG oil pickup spacer (Part# IAG-ENG-2081SP) is required when using the IAG oil pickup in conjunction with a Killer B Oil Pan. Installation requires specific tools including an M5 Allen Driver, T20 & T30 Torx Drivers, and Blue Loctite. IAG recommends professional installation for this product.
