The Canton 25-500 is an oil bypass cap designed for CM spin-on oil filters. It is intended for street applications that experience cold starts and high pressure surges. This cap adds a bypass feature to filters where the engine block does not have one. It utilizes the original hardware and O-ring and is compatible with Canton CM filter elements.
