Description

Excess oil mist in the crankcase can enter the intake system via the PCV, leading to oil burning, reduced power, and undesirable blue smoke from the exhaust. Mazda recognized this by including an oil separator on specific models, but proper installation can be complex. Moroso's solution utilizes a fine steel mesh within the separator to promote the condensation and collection of oil mist. The collected oil accumulates in the bottom of the canister and requires disassembly for emptying, which is facilitated by a knurled grip. This specific kit is a smaller version, measuring approximately 4.5 inches in height and 2 inches in diameter, designed to fit into tighter engine bay configurations. This kit is compatible with all NA and NB Miatas, including those equipped with ABS.
