Description

The ADD W1 Oil Catch Can Kit is engineered for specific Mini Cooper models, including the 2007-2016 generations (R55, R56, R57, R58, R59, R60, and R61) equipped with N14 and N18 engines. This kit's primary function is to capture oil particles and moisture that are transferred back into the air intake system via the PCV/CCV. It features a "TRIPLE Twister Chamber" design, an internal baffle system that effectively traps contaminants and filters oil residue, preventing buildup in the intake, intercooler, and throttle body. This process leads to cleaner inlet air, which can help raise octane and improve engine performance, especially in tuned vehicles. Constructed from high-grade, lightweight 6061 Aircraft Aluminum, the V3 baffled oil catch can has a capacity of 150ml. It includes a convenient easy-drain NPT plug, with an optional remote quick drain valve available. Installation is simplified by utilizing OEM factory fittings. Customization options include color insert rings available in 8 different colors and a carbon fiber finish that reduces weight and enhances the engine bay appearance.
