Maintenance is simplified with a drain plug that can be removed to allow for an -AN return to the oil pan, or for easy draining. Unlike many other catch cans that require filter replacement, the Mishimoto Baffled Oil Catch Can is 100% washable. It is also safe for use in pressurized systems. This catch can differs from typical air-oil-separator (AOS) systems as it is not heated, allowing all blow-by, including low-octane oil vapors and contaminated fuel vapors, to condense and be trapped, preventing them from returning to the engine permanently.
