Oil Cooler Kit

Overheated oil loses its viscosity, leading to potential engine damage. This kit combats that by actively cooling the oil, which also contributes to lowering overall engine operating temperatures. Constructed with Flyin' Miata's commitment to quality, this kit features braided stainless steel lines with AN-8 fittings, ensuring durability and proper flow. An integrated oil thermostat helps the engine reach operating temperature more quickly, preventing cold-start wear. The mounting brackets are laser-cut from stainless steel for maximum strength and corrosion resistance. The cooler is strategically mounted to the steering rack, positioned high enough for protection from road debris while still receiving adequate airflow from the front of the vehicle or underneath. Bracket design may vary slightly depending on the specific year of your Miata. This kit is not compatible with older FM turbo kits that feature a steel compressor outlet tube crossing in front of the engine. While it works with the Flyin' Miata oil filter relocation kit, they should be installed independently and not plumbed together, following their respective instructions.
