Oil Cooler Kit

The Verus Engineering Oil Cooler Kit for the MK5 Toyota Supra is engineered to significantly reduce oil and coolant temperatures, particularly under demanding track conditions. High-performance engines generate substantial heat, which can degrade oil viscosity and increase wear. The factory setup uses a water-to-oil heat exchanger that can overwhelm both the oil and coolant systems. This kit replaces that heat exchanger with a dedicated air-to-oil cooler, improving overall thermal management. Developed using scan data and on-track testing, this kit offers an OEM-type fit and finish. The cooler is positioned for excellent airflow with minimal impact on aerodynamics, even utilizing the Supra's OEM air duct design. The engine block oil cooler adapter plate is precision-machined in-house on 5-axis CNC mills. The kit includes a PWR 37mm Universal Engine Oil Cooler (21 Row, 11" x 7-1/2"), a powder-coated mounting bracket, a machined aluminum adapter plate, stainless braided oil cooler lines with low-profile, high-flow 90-degree fittings, and an OEM push-to-connect auxiliary radiator fitting. All necessary hardware for a seamless installation is provided. Through extensive on-track data collection with various drivers, this oil cooler has demonstrated its effectiveness in dramatically reducing both oil and coolant temperatures, leading to improved overall cooling efficiency. It outperforms the factory system under heavy loads and extended periods of use, making it an essential upgrade for track day enthusiasts and professional racers seeking to maintain optimal engine performance and longevity.
