Oil Cooler Kit with Thermostat

The Improved Racing E5G-600 is a direct bolt-on performance oil cooler kit engineered for the 2010-2011 Camaro SS. This kit replaces the factory water-to-oil cooler, providing a significant upgrade in oil cooling performance and also contributing to a decrease in water temperatures. It is designed to lower peak oil temperatures by as much as 30-50°F, making it essential for track use. Featuring a built-in thermostatic oil cooler adapter (EGM-114), this kit ensures that engine oil reaches its optimal operating temperature more quickly than the stock system, enhancing streetability. The adapter is available with thermostat options of 180°F, 200°F, or 212°F. The 180°F unit is recommended for street use with wet sump vehicles, while the 200°F and 212°F units are advised for racing applications and dry-sump vehicles. The kit includes a massive MHX series high-efficiency 45-row, triple-pass oil cooler and custom, lightweight aluminum, rubber-isolated mounting brackets. The professionally assembled, heat-shielded -10AN oil lines are constructed with hard-anodized aluminum dual swivel fittings and a Viton rubber interior with stainless reinforcement to prevent kinking. A silicone-fiberglass sleeve protects the lines from header heat. Minor cutting of the factory radiator shroud is required, with a laser-cut acrylic template and instructions provided for precise fitment. It comes with a Lifetime Warranty.
