This kit serves as an upgrade to the existing Cool-Tek Oil Filter Relocation Kit, providing more robust temperature control. By utilizing this oil cooler, you can help maintain cooler oil temperatures, which in turn can lead to increased power output and a longer engine life. For performance in colder climates, the kit features an integrated Cool-Tek thermostat. This thermostat intelligently delays oil circulation through the cooler until the oil temperature reaches 180 degrees Fahrenheit. This feature is crucial for allowing the engine oil to reach its proper operating temperature more rapidly, minimizing wear during cold starts.
