The K&N HP-2010 Performance Gold Oil Filter was originally developed for demanding auto racing applications and is now a popular choice for consumers due to its durability and ease of removal. It features a unique 1-inch nut welded directly to the canister, allowing for simple wrench-off installation and removal with a standard socket wrench. Constructed with resin-impregnated cellulose filter media, the HP-2010 offers high flow rates while ensuring excellent filtration. This high flow capability is particularly beneficial in high-performance vehicles that utilize heavier grade oil and operate at higher oil circulation rates (GPM), helping to minimize pressure loss through the filter. Specifications for the HP-2010 include an M22-1.50 thread size, a height of 4.0 inches, an outside diameter of 3.63 inches, and it includes an anti-drainback valve.
