The K&N HP-1017 High Performance Oil Filter is meticulously engineered to offer superior filtration and engine protection for a wide range of modern LS-based engines. This filter is compatible with all synthetic, conventional, and blended motor oils, offering versatility for various maintenance needs. Engineered for durability and performance, the HP-1017 features a heavy-duty canister that is built to withstand demanding conditions and high oil pressures. The filter has a 3-inch diameter, stands 3.75 inches tall, and features an M22 x 1.5 thread size. For convenience, it includes a one-inch welded hex nut, enabling fast and easy Wrench-Off® removal. This high-capacity oil filter is built to meet or exceed the service intervals recommended by vehicle manufacturers, providing extended protection between changes. Laboratory testing confirms its excellent capacity, efficiency, and mechanical strength, assuring reliable performance.
