Oil Filter and Coolant Filtration System

The Sinister Diesel SD-EOF-CF-6.0 is a comprehensive oil filter and coolant filtration system engineered to enhance the longevity of your 2003-2007 Ford Powerstroke 6.0L engine's vital fluids. This system actively removes harmful contaminants such as casting sand, metal shavings, rust, and sludge, which can lead to premature wear on engine and turbocharger bearings, or even catastrophic engine failure due to lubrication issues or overheating, particularly affecting components like the EGR cooler. Constructed from 6061 billet aluminum, the filter boss features two threaded inlet ports and one outlet port, supporting 2-micron filtration for superior oil cleanliness. The system utilizes abrasion-resistant stainless braided lines for oil and reinforced silicone lines for coolant, ensuring durability and reliability. Sinister Diesel recommends replacing the first filter after 500 miles, followed by subsequent filters at 3,000-mile intervals for the next two changes. After these initial replacements, filter changes can transition to an annual schedule. The system also offers the option to be upgraded with a Cat Coolant Filter for enhanced performance.
