The Improved Racing ENV-135-T7 is an oil filter sandwich plate designed for plumbing an oil cooler to your engine. It features a built-in, rebuildable thermostat that bypasses the oil cooler until the oil reaches its operating temperature, allowing for quicker engine warm-up and preventing over-cooling. The plate has 90-degree -10AN ORB ports for easier installation in tight spaces.

The Improved Racing ENV-135-T7 is a thermostatic oil filter sandwich plate designed to integrate with oil cooler setups. Its built-in thermostat activates at 212°F, promoting faster engine warm-up and preventing oil from becoming excessively cool during less demanding driving conditions, such as street use. This helps maintain optimal engine operating temperatures. Constructed with -10AN ORB ports, the ENV-135-T7 offers versatile connection options for your oil cooler lines. The plate is designed with compact dimensions to facilitate fitment in tight engine bays. It is compatible with oil filter gasket outer diameters up to 3.55 inches (90 mm) and inner diameters down to 1.91 inches (49 mm). The minimum operating temperature for this unit is -40°F (-40°C). Installation of this sandwich plate may require a specific oil filter screw, which is sold separately. Additionally, for certain applications, such as FA20 and FA24 engines, an oil filter spacer is also required for proper mounting and function.
