OIL PAN

When the plastic lower half of the original equipment two-piece engine oil pan on certain Volkswagen, Audi and Seat vehicles warps from heat or cracks from impact, the dealership's repair solution is to replace that failed lower half with the same plastic design. This Dorman OE FIX oil pan design replaces that original equipment disposable pan section with a lower pan half made of rugged high-pressure diecast aluminum more resistant to heat, corrosion and impact. For a faster and more predictable repair, this pan is engineered to use a replaceable, press-in gasket and requires a minimal amount of sealant for a secure, leak-proof fit. The included convenient magnetic drain plug also features an angled mount boss that enables a complete drain.
