The Tomei Oil Pan Baffle Plate is meticulously designed for the Nissan RB26DETT engine to ensure consistent oil lubrication, even under extreme driving conditions. During spirited driving, such as cornering, acceleration, or deceleration, the oil in the stock pan can slosh to one side. This can lead to air entering the oil pickup, disrupting the continuous flow of oil to the engine. Such interruptions can cause direct metal-to-metal contact, leading to rapid temperature increases and accelerated wear.
