Description

The BimmerWorld Drilled Oil Pump Nut is a vital upgrade for M50, M52, M52TU, M54, S50US, and S52 engines. This nut is precision-drilled to allow for the attachment of safety wire, a preferred method over welding for continued maintenance access. It is strongly recommended when performing any work that requires removing the oil pan, such as replacing rod bearings, oil pan baffles, or gaskets. This upgrade includes safety wire for installation. The recommended torque specification for the reinstalled drilled and safety-wired nut is 17 ft-lb. It is important to note that the nut is reverse-threaded. The oil pan gasket is sold separately. The product replaces OEM part numbers 11417897238, 07119905857, 11411735137, and 07119921103. Special Application Notes: This part is not for the Euro E36 M3 engine.
