The Trans-Dapt 8628 is an OEM-style steel oil pan designed for Small Block Chevy engines from 1955-1979, including 283-400 cubic inch displacements. This heavy-duty oil pan features a driver's side dipstick and a 4-quart capacity, matching original factory dimensions and appearance.

It is finished in an Asphalt Black powder coat, offering a durable and attractive look. This oil pan is specifically engineered as a direct replacement or restoration part for compatible V8 engines.
